News from the Referee Committee
REFEREES FOR EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN DEBRECEN, HUNGARY
This championship on 27 September in Debrecen, Hungary invites competitors for adults and J18
(Juniors) categories. As the championship is on one day on 6 tatamis we need many referees. EKO
Referee Committee invite A, B and C licensed referees. We also welcome new referees who want to apply
for a C-license. This includes those who want to refresh an old license.
REFEREE COURSE IN DEBRECEN, HUNGARY
Before the European Championship in Debrecen EKO invites to a referee course for new referees, referees
who apply for a new license and referees who need to renew a license.
25.09.2025 Thursday
13:30 – Referee course registration. Place: Református Kollégium, H-4026, Debrecen Kálvin tér 16.
The Referee Course is compulsory for referees who apply for new or refresh license. Participation in referee
uniform. The course ends with a written test. For that you need a smart phone or a computer. The test is in

Referee application for the Referee Course and EC participation
1. Must be done onwww.ekoreferees.eu.
2. Registration of referees onhttps://app.kumitetechnology.com/. This is for notification to the organizer. New
license is 50€ and refresh license is 25€, this can be paid by card or cash at the registration before the course.
14:00 – 20:00 Referee Course
Participate shall bring all documents (from EKO Homepage), be in referee uniform and with whistle.
The theory test will be done online, bring a smart phone or laptop for internet connection (WiFI is
provided)
EKO COACH TEST, COACH MEETING and REFEREE BRIEFING
26.09.2025 Friday
10:00 – 19:00 Weight and medical control
16:00 – 18:00 Referee registration and meeting (participation in referee uniform)
18:30 – 19:00 Coach registration and meeting
Coach participation fee: 40 EUR
All coaches must have a valid Coach Test from 2023, 2024 or 2025. The test is done online on an individual base.
